Sweden’s Data Inspection Board and the telecoms regulator, the PTS have announced a joint project to review whether the way in which subscriber and location data in mobile content services is dealt with complies with applicable laws and rules.
The Data Inspection Board and PTS, which are the respective supervisory authorities in charge of enforcing compliance with the Personal Data Act and the Electronic Communications Act, are now initiating a joint project to examine flows of subscriber and location data between mobile operators and mobile content service providers.
