As part of the IFA-Preview in Hamburg, Navigon presented its new high-end PND 8410, to the public.
The PND features photorealistic 3D city models – significant buildings or monuments in cities are displayed in three dimensions and thus provide better orientation. Houses, streets, pedestrian crossings and traffic lights in selected European capitals are now included and the houses sometimes even in color.
The PND will also feature Navigon’s advanced voice recognition technology and ‘Clever Parking Assist’ functionality.
The device will cost €450 and for an additional €60, users can buy a DVB-T tuner.
