Business users, prosumers and consumers buying the BlackBerry Curve 8900 from Optus will get Telmap Navigator pre-loaded on the device included with a 12 month licence for search, mapping and navigation as part of the package.
Telmap Navigator enables customers to enjoy rich search, mapping and navigation for a complete travel experience. It provides the shortest route to a desired destination using turn-by-turn voice instructions that pronounces street names and displays high-quality 3D moving maps as well as a dedicated pedestrian mode.
Telmap Navigator includes user-friendly free-text local search capabilities that allow users to find what they are looking for even from misspelled or in-complete entries. Telmap Navigator is connected to main BlackBerry core elements like the device ‘Contacts’ allowing business users on the move to navigate to addresses and people stored in their address book.
