UK: Porsche Panamera gets standard navi and SVT

The Porsche Panamera will be available with Stolen Vehicle Tracking and PCM navigation system as standard features. Infotainment and ADAS equipment are as follows:


Central multi-media and DVD navigation system including high-resolution 7-inch WVGA (Wide Video Graphics Array) TFT colour monitor with touchscreen- radio with twin RDS tuner and Scan-/Phase-Diversity for optimised reception, MP3 and audio/video DVD compatible single CD/DVD drive, Panamera S/Panamera 4S: 11 loudspeakers, 235 Watt total output power.

Panamera Turbo: BOSE® Surround Sound System: 14 loudspeakers,585 Watt total output power Navigation module with, hard drive containing navigation data for most of Europe, perspective map display (3D navigation map), dynamic route calculation (TMC), automatic route tracing and subsequent reverse route navigation as well as navigation in non-digitised regions by means of compass and GPS.

Universal audio interface: £217

Includes AUX interface in storage compartment beneath front centre armrest for connection of external audio source, controlled directly on the equipment connected: PCM: Comprises three different connections in lower storage compartment of front centre console: iPod, USB, Aux.

TV-Tuner: £1001

For receiving unencrypted analog and digital TV signals (DVB-T) whenever the vehicleis stationary. In combination with the Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment, TV reception will also be possible while the vehicle is in motion.

Voice control: £295

For control of virtually all PCM functions by defined voice commands. With word-by-word input of, for example, navigation destinations, phone book entries or radiostation names without the need to train the system.Simplified control by means of dialog-supported input and visualisation of menu specific selection lists.

Adaptive Cruise Control: £1327

In addition to the standard cruise control function, the system controls the speed and distance to the preceding vehicle in a speed range between 19 mph (30 km/h) and 130 mph (210km/h) and down to stand still.

Rear Seat Entertainment:

The new Porsche Panamera is available straight from the factory with Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment, a newly developed entertainment system comprising two high-resolution seven-inch colour displays integrated in the backrests of the front seats, as well as individual players and two cordless infra-red headsets.

The leather-covered display consoles each come with a USB interface, while the whole system is controlled by touchscreen operation. Immune to vibrations, the Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment System plays both DVDs and CDs in maximum quality, with connections for two separate, individually controlled AV sources as well as a game console or an iPod.
