China Satellite Mobile Broadcasting Corporation (CSMBC) will progressively launch an intelligent navigation service this September, starting in ten cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou, Kunming, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Tianjin and Shenyang.
In addition to GPS navigation features such as map inquiry, route planning and auto-navigation, CSMBC’s intelligent navigation service, called “Jingcai,” also provides real-time city traffic conditions. The new service follows CSMBC’s release of its stock market and financial information service.
