Mitsubishi’s electric car uses Clarion MiND for full infotainment

At the CEATEC Show in Japan, Mitsubishi has shown its electric car iMiEV with an integrated Clarion MiND PND. Judging from the photos, it looks like the Clarion MiND completely replaces the audio system and acts as the full infotainment system for the car.

The ClarionMiND is a next-generation mobile device that uses the powerful Intel Atom processor to deliver an enhanced navigation and entertainment experience. An in-car device offering a full-spec Internet environment, ClarionMiND’s sophisticated features include high-speed Internet connection, full Web browsing, GPS navigation and digital content access and management.
