Clarion has announced that users can add 3G connectivity to the MiND (Clarion’s connected PND) by performing a software update and then inserting a 3G USB dongle.
Steps:
1) Users need to download and install the Update Pack 2.3 from the website.
2) Switch the device to stand-by mode.
3) Insert a 3G USB modem.
4) Turn-on the device.
5) Once the 3G modem is detected and activated, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections are automatically disabled.
