Kia to launch Microsoft powered ‘UVO’ connectivity system

In answer to Ford’s Sync infotainment technology, Kia has announced that it will showcase its new UVO system at the Consumer Electronics Show, Las Vegas.

UVO (meaning ‘your voice’) is based on the Microsoft Windows Embedded Auto Software program which is also used in Ford’s Sync. It is expected that the technology will feature Bluetooth compatibility, as well as voice-activated device control for both phone and iPod features.
