Nav N Go to use NAVTEQ map data

NAVTEQ has reached an agreement with the Hungarian Nav N Go to supply global map data and content to the white label, navigation software developer.

The NAVTEQ data is to be utilized in a broad range of LBS applications including Nav N Go’s iGO My way navigation application for iPhone.

Western European, full European and North American versions of Nav N Go’s iGO My way application for iPhone, featuring NAVTEQ maps, are available from iTunes and App Store. Quarterly map updates are included in the purchase price until the end of 2010. As all maps are stored on the device, once downloaded, iGO My way needs only a GPS satellite signal – there are no monthly fees or hidden data roaming charges.

Having established itself in portable navigation, Nav N Go has rapidly expanded into the wireless, automotive and enterprise markets which mirror NAVTEQ’s own areas of expertise.

For example, Nav N Go’s reputation in the automotive sector has been established following several significant deals with major brands – here working with tier one suppliers.
