NAVTEQ expands map coverage in Latin America

NAVTEQ has recently announced at the ESRI Latin America User Conference availability of the NAVTEQ map of Colombia and intermediate map sets for Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Jamaica, and Panama.

Included in this initial map is coverage representing 70% of the road network in Colombia and over 230 municipalities.

Approximately 15,000 Points of Interest (POIs) available in the map database, enable customers to create applications that allow for destination selection via a POI look-up. (Read more here)
