The GENIVI Alliance will show the first live demonstration of its multi-architecture middleware platform at CES 2011 in Las Vegas.
In line with GENIVI’s strategy to accommodate all automotive customers and provide more choice in design, the platform, described as the Apollo baseline, supports two hardware implementations.
One implementation is running on the Intel In-Vehicle Infotainment Reference Design with Intel Atom Processor E6xx and the other on Texas Instruments’ ARM Cortex-A8 powered BeagleBoard with an automotive carrier card.
Representatives from the GENIVI Alliance will be providing demonstrations of the platform inside Visteon Corporation’s exhibit located in the Central Plaza, CP20, in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
GENIVI Alliance now boasts nearly 100 members from automotive and CE industries working collaboratively on a worldwide basis.
