At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next month Jungo will demonstrate its Automotive Connectivity Middleware for in-car infotainment systems.
The Jungo booth at CES will be located in the USB TechZone, booth 36505, in South Hall 4 (upper level) of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC.)
Encompassing comprehensive software for connecting smart devices, complete protocol stacks and rich media and phone management software, Jungo’s Automotive Connectivity Middleware enables manufacturers of in-car infotainment systems to incorporate innovative connectivity functionality in their products and bring them rapidly to market.
The solution supports connectivity to any device, across any protocol, with full media, phone and application control, providing a complete framework for developing leading-edge infotainment and multimedia head units.
Now with support for the iPod Out and Terminal Mode protocols, Jungo’s Automotive Connectivity Middleware supports:
• Connectivity to any device: iPhone, iPod, iPad, Android devices, MTP devices and Media Players
• Connectivity on any protocol: USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G
• A rich applications framework: media management functions (indexing, streaming, playback), phone management (placing calls, phonebook management) and Internet connectivity software.
It also enables OEMs to leverage the same code-base across different platforms and provides an open platform for easy integration with mapping and telematics applications.
All popular operating systems used in in-car infotainment systems are supported, including Linux, Android, QNX, Windows CE and ulTRON.
