ConCar Expo and SBD Automotive bring usability to life in Berlin

At the ConCarExpo 2017, connected and autonomous car experts lead a hands-on demonstration of the latest in-car systems.

  • SBD Automotive helps car manufacturers and their partners develop autonomous, more secure and better-connected cars.
  • In-car systems may leave drivers overwhelmed, confused and frustrated, which could result in a negative impact on brand loyalty.
  • Learn what makes a great user experience, with hands-on access to the latest systems at SBD Automotive’s Usability Experience (UX) Hub during the ConCar Expo conference in Berlin.

With 42 types of connected services and more than 800 apps available in the EU, USA and China, the automotive industry faces a significant challenge.

Car makers have discovered connectivity and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as ways of increasing the appeal of their cars, reducing costs and generating new revenue. However, with user experience (UX) of the in-car systems impacting brand loyalty, manufacturers are facing a new set of challenges.

UX Hub

SBD Automotive will be at the ConCarExpo in Berlin, between 5 and 6 July 2017, to host the UX Hub, an expert demonstration of three of the industry’s latest in-car user experiences.

Specialists in connectivity and autonomous driving from SBD will be on hand to guide visitors in understanding what makes the system of three different cars unique and how to define success when it comes to usability.

The company now has offices in every major automotive market, having recently announced the opening of SBD Automotive Germany.

Andrea Sroczynski, Managing Director at SBD Automotive Germany GmbH said:

“Our team has a long history of user experience testing and analysis, having supported almost every major car manufacturer. The UX Hub brings our valuable experiences together under one roof.”

Andrea is a seasoned speaker at automotive events around the world and will be present at the UX Hub. She is the former Head of Segment Strategy, Automotive & Transportation, at Telenor Connexion, a leading provider of connected business solutions within the Internet of Things (IoT).
