The Texas-based technology provider announced that drivers of select 2021 Nissan Sentra and Kicks vehicles in Mexico will be able to access its suite of connected safety and convenience services. Prior to this expansion, the services were exclusive to Nissan and Infiniti vehicles in the U.S. and Canada.

Vehicle models equipped with NissanConnect Services come with a free six-month trial of SiriusXM Connected Vehicle’s Premium service package. Through this, buyers can access a broad range of features – including Automatic Collision Notification, Emergency Call, Connection to Roadside Assistance, Destination Assistance, My Car Finder, Nissan Concierge, Stolen Vehicle Locator, Remote Engine Start and Stop and Valet Alert. Buyers will also receive a complementary five-year subscription to SiriusXM’s Select Services package which includes convenience features such as Remote Lock/Unlock, In-Vehicle Messaging, and Maintenance Alerts.

In Mexico, the connected vehicle services are currently available on 2021 Nissan Sentra (on Exclusive grade) and the 2021 Nissan Kicks (on Platinum grade). Additional Nissan and INFINITI vehicles will receive these services later in the year.

The coverage area for the services includes most of Mexico and is supported by Spanish-language call centers.
