Stellantis has announced the pricing for its 2022 line-up of Grand Cherokee SUVs and detailed the technology offerings featured in the vehicle.

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee has a starting U.S. MSRP of $37,390 for RWD vehicles and $39,390 for AWD models. The lineup consists of five models – called Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland and Summit – and two packages: Altitude (Laredo) and Summit Reserve (Summit).

In the fifth-generation Grand Cherokee, key in-vehicle functions are hosted by Uconnect 5, the latest iteration of Stellantis’ infotainment system. The new Grand Cherokee offers up to three 10.1-inch and two 10.25-inch digital displays in the cabin, with a segment-exclusive front passenger screen offering co-pilot assistance with navigation and camera viewing. These screens work alongside the SUV’s 10-inch windshield Head-Up Display.

Users can also benefit from a number of connectivity and convenience features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad in the front-center console and Bluetooth capability to connect two devices simultaneously. The in-vehicle 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot also supports in-vehicle internet for up to eight devices, with this connectivity also enabling key features such as Amazon Alexa, SirisXM 360L, TomTom Navigation and maps over-the-air updates.

Also available on the 2022 Grand Cherokee is Amazon’s Fire TV – enabling the car’s two rear screens to stream videos, play games, listen to music and watch up to 16GB of downloaded content. The app allows each passenger to watch their own selection of content, this content can also be mirrored across the displays for both passengers to watch together. The app is also connected to Uconnect 5, allowing them to adjust their individual climate settings and see their ETA. Fire TV also includes two Voice Remotes with Alexa. The remote gives users the ability to ask Alexa to find, launch and control content such as sports scores, music or the vehicle’s live camera feeds (compatible smart home device required and sold separately).

All passengers can benefit from the SUV’s new McIntosh audio system. The available sound system features 19 speakers, 950 watts of power and a 17-channel amplifier.

Customers choosing the Laredo variant of the vehicle can benefit from the Uconnect 5 system with a 10.1-inch digital display and an 8.4-inch high-definition touchscreen. This system offers a customizable, one-touch home screen, five user profiles and standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To enhance connectivity, the Grand Cherokee offers USB Type A and new Type C ports for both rows. Likewise, the Trailhawk model features Uconnect 5 navigation with 8.4-inch display and Overland models feature an upgraded Uconnect 5 system with navigation and a premium Alpine audio system.

Stellantis has confirmed that the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee is expected to arrive in Jeep dealerships during the fourth quarter of 2021.
