Kia has revealed the latest edition of its Niro model at the 2021 Seoul Mobility Show.

The new model has been developed under the OEM’s Opposites United design philosophy. It takes inspiration from nature in multiple areas of its design to reflect its environmentally responsible approach and sustainable future.

One of its key features is the new ‘Greenzone Drive Mode’, which can automatically enables the PHEVs’ EV drive mode. When driving in green zones, for instance, the vehicle automatically uses electric power based on navigation cues and driving history data. It also recognizes a driver’s favorite places, such as their home and office, and registers them in the navigation system as a green zone.

The center-console features the electronic dial-type shift lever. Incorporated into the diagonal gaps of the dashboard are the Niro’s audio-visual screen and air vents.

The all-new Niro will be available with HEV, PHEV and EV powertrains from next year.
