Mazda’s North American arm has detailed the full range of features and enhancements across its Mazda CX-5 range. The 2022 CX-5 line-up includes the follow models: 2.5 S, 2.5 S Select, 2.5 S Preferred, 2.5 S Carbon Edition, 2.5 S Premium, 2.5 S Premium Plus, 2.5 Turbo and the 2.5 Turbo Signature.

In addition to confirming that all 2022 CX-5 models in the U.S. would be supplied with its i-Activ AWD as standard, Mazda confirmed that all models would also include a complimentary three-year subscription to its Connected Services package. It allows users to monitor and control the state of the CX-5 remotely by logging into the MyMazda app. Users can also benefit from a three-month, or two-gigabyte, complimentary trial of Mazda’s in-car Wi-Fi hotspot trial.

Also standard is a 10.25-inch full-color center display, which features the latest Mazda Connect infotainment system. In addition to its own vehicle OS, the system supports integrations with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other standard features include push button start, remote keyless entry system, dual front USB inputs, and a four-speaker sound system. Upgrading to the CX-5 2.5 S Select upgrades the sound system to six-speakers and adds an additional two USB ports. In the CX-5 2.5 S Premium, a Bose 10-speaker audio system is added alongside SiriusXM satellite radio, and a three-month trial, as well as a 7.0-inch LCD multi-information gauge display.

The highest CX-5 trim, the 2.5 Turbo Signature, features the Mazda Navigation System which allows the OEM’s Active Driving Display to include Traffic Sign Recognition. Owners of this model will also receive a three-year subscription to SiriusXM’s Traffic & Travel Link. The service provides up-to-date information on traffic, weather, sports scores, fuel prices, and nearby parking spaces in cities.
