At CES 2022, ThunderSoft unveiled its new smart cockpit solution based on Qualcomm’s SA8295 hardware platform. It leverages the platform’s computing, graphic and image processing capabilities to build the one-chip multi-screen smart cockpit domain.
The domain covers a variety of in-vehicle features and functions, including the digital cluster, central console entertainment, front passenger entertainment, rear seat entertainment, streaming media rearview mirror, and head-up display.
The platform’s coverage extends further to safety and security – covering data encryption and the security of storage, vehicle functions, and car-to-cloud communications. Likewise, SA8295’s AI and multi-camera capabilities also allow for low-speed driver assistance to better support 360° surround view and smart parking.
Supported by ThunderSoft’s multi-screen linkage technology, the full-screen scenario provides users with a enhanced infotainment experience. One element of this experience was a virtual assistant with voice recognition technology which aims to deliver personalized user experiences.
