Kia has confirmed the pricing structure for its 2023 Niro EV. Offered in two trims, Wind and Wave, the new Niro starts at an MSRP of $39,450 (excluding a $1295 destination fee).

Powered by a 64.8 kWh battery and a 150kW (201-hp) motor with DC fast-charging capability as standard, the Niro EV provides an estimated 253 miles of all electric range. When connected to a Level 3 fast charger, it is capable of recharging from 10 to 80 percent in under 45 minutes at a maximum charging capability of 85 kW. An available Preserve Package adds heated rear seats and a heat pump.

The second-generation model is incrementally larger than the vehicle it replaces and provides a range of sustainable upscaled materials inside. Available features for the EV’s infotainment system include a pair of panoramic 10.25-inch screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment system and an optional eight-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system.

The 2023 Niro EV is expected to arrive at Kia retailers this month and will be available at the OEM’s dealerships across all 50 states.
