Genesis has revealed the first look at the X Convertible – its latest EV concept and the final entry in its X trilogy of electric concept cars. Revealed in California, the OEM’s four-passenger open-roof concept has a lineage that can be traced back to the X Speedium Coupe and the X Concept, a two-door grand tourer that served as the introduction to the EV trilogy.

While Genesis has not yet revealed the vehicle’s specifications, it did confirm that it shares its architecture and electric powertrain with the X Concept and X Speedium Coupe. It also features a high-performance sound system developed by Guk-il Yu.

The interior of the X Convertible concept features a driver-centric four-seat asymmetric layout. A wraparound instrument panel integrates with the center console and cocoons the driver cockpit.
