Kia has debuted the latest generation of its Seltos compact SUV at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show. The 2024 Seltos adds a number of new standard and available technologies, as well as a new X-Line trim.
Inside, the new Seltos provides an available panoramic infotainment display. The display combines a 10.25-inch instrument cluster with a 10.25-inch central infotainment screen, and spans more than half of the dashboard. A new standard 4.2-inch instrument cluster is provided with a digital gauge upgrade.
Kia Connect, the OEM’s suite of embedded connectivity features, extends the functionality of the 2024 Seltos’ infotainment system. Digital Key 2 Touch, for example, allows customers to utilize compatible iPhone, Apple Watch, and Samsung Galaxy devices to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle.
Opting for the SX Sunroof Package allows these keys to be shared by text messages with compatible devices. Kia Connect also allows the 2024 Seltos to receive OTA updates for its map and infotainment system, ensuring both provide the latest functionalities at all times.
New convenience features work to further enhance the user experience, including four USB ports (two in the front, two in the rear) for charging electronics devices. The SX Sunroof Package adds a power liftgate and ventilated front seats.
Kia America expects the 2024 Seltos to launch in the first half of 2023. At launch, customers will have the choice between front- and all-wheel drive configurations of the compact SUV.
