Toyota has revealed the bZ Compact SUV Concept at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show at the LA Convention Center. The new concept serves as a full battery-electric vehicle and previews the next entry in the OEM’s bZ line of EVs.

In the concept, an in-car personal agent named ”Yui” helps connects occupants with their vehicle. Leveraging dynamic audio and visual lighting cues that move around the cabin, it registers and responds to requests from front or rear passengers.

The new concept SUV works to support Toyota’s global electrification strategy, through which it plans to expand its line-up to include 30 dedicated BEVs – five of which will carry the bZ brand label. With this line-up, Toyota is looking to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
