Cadillac has launched the 2024 iteration of its XT4 SUV – offering design updates, new technologies, and enhanced safety features for the new model year. At launch, the vehicle will be offered in three trims – Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport – that each provide a different set of features and equipment tailored to their targeted user experiences.
Leading the new suite of technologies provided in the XT4 is a 33-inch LED display inspired by the Cadillac LYRIQ. Equipped with the brand’s new Virtual Cockpit System, the display hosts many of the vehicle’s key infotainment, connectivity, and safety features. Further capable of presenting a 9K resolution, it is curved towards the driver as part of a single continuous screen that spans their field of view. The display’s customizable UI balances personalization with a technology-driven experience, allowing the user to choose their own display theme based on their mood or personality.
In addition to its own range of connectivity and infotainment features, such as a new 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, the XT4 offers services from third-party consumer electronics firms. These include compatibility with Google built-in, providing native applications for Google Assistant, Google Maps, and the Google Play store; wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; and an integrated Amazon Alexa assistant. The vehicle’s multimedia offering, including music, news, podcasts, or driving directions, will benefit from a new sound system from AKG Studio. Cadillac confirmed that the 13-speaker system will be offered as a standard feature across all trims of the new XT4.
The 2024 Cadillac XT4 will begin sales in summer 2023, with production set to take place at GM’s Fairfax Assembly facility in Kansas. Pricing for the XT4 and its trims will be announced closer to the start of production.
