Kia will has detailed its plans to officially launch its global PBV business at the forthcoming CES 2024 trade show in Las Vegas.

At the event, the OEM will introduce and showcase its forthcoming PBV product range and business outlook, showcasing various PBV concept models. Kia will also utilize CES to present its first PBV, which will offer a full mobility solution aiming to combine fit-for-purpose EVs with advanced software solutions that pave the way for new business and lifestyle opportunities.

Making its return to CES after a five-year absence, Kia will hold a series of keynote panels that will delve into its PBV business strategies and future vision. Among these are specialized hardware such as Easy Swap and Dynamic Hybrid modularization technologies, as well as digital solutions crafted under the Hyundai Motor Group, and Kia’s plans for global partnership integration. Between January 9 – 12, it will also operate both an indoor PBV exhibition in the LVCC West Hall, and an outdoor EV exhibition in the LVCC Central Plaza.

The Kia PBV showcase will include five concept models, including its first PBV set to enter mass production in 2025, a suite of exclusive PBV technology from Kia, and a presentation and demonstration session highlighting its SDV strategy and integration plans for partnerships.

In the realm of EVs, Kia’s exhibition will unveil the brand’s ‘EVs for All’ vision. This will be exemplified by the display of the EV3 and EV4 concept cars, alongside the EV9 and EV6 GT. Kia will also use this exhibition to highlight the diverse lifestyle benefits that customers can derive from its expanding EV lineup.
