Hongqi has launched the European versions of its EH7 sedan and EHS7 SUV at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.

For the Chinese OEM, the reveal represents a key moment in its expansion across the European market, and reaffirms its commitment to offering advanced technology, enhanced performance and refined design for customers seeking premium electric vehicles. Having recently opened for orders, Hongqi confirmed that, in its European markets, pricing for the EH7 will be set at €49,999 ($54,269 / £41,651) and the EHS7 at €53,999 ($58,611 / £44,984).

The EH7 and EHS7 are equipped with high-performance electric drivetrains capable of delivering up to 610 hp (455 kW) of power and 557 lb-ft (756 Nm) of torque. For the EH7, this setup enables an estimated EV driving range of 655 km (406 miles), while the EH7 offers 600 km (372 miles) of range. The EVs together support fast charging, allowing them to be charged from 10% to 80% in around 20 minutes. More broadly, they also feature an advanced chassis control system, which offers variable damping suspension to minimize discomfort from road imperfections.

Inside, a spacious interior facilitated by a three-meter wheelbase enhances legroom for customers (a feature through which Hongqi is looking to appeal both EVs to families) and offers several technologies. In addition to an augmented reality head-up display and a custom Hongqi audio system, the EV will also offer Level 2 ADAS – although the automaker has yet to outline the scope of this functionality.

In providing its new European customers with after-sales services, Hongqi is today establishing a after-sales network across the region. Today, it has set up service centers in 29 countries that aim to support Hongqi customers, from routine maintenance to emergency assistance, in order to ensure peace of mind.
