B-On, an EV solutions provider, has announced a new partnership with luxury EV manufacturer Karma Automotive. Through it, the OEM will produce electric LCVs for B-On at its California production facility from 2023.

The facility, called the Karma Innovation and Customization Center (KICC), will produce an initial run of delivery trucks for B-On this year, with pre-production expected to commence in July. From 2024, the KICC will run a full scale production of B-On BEVs as it expands further across North America. At this scale, Karma’s facility has the capacity to produce up to 30,000 vehicles every year.

The KICC itself offers a variety of manufacturing, engineering, and customization services. Here, it accounts for full vehicle assembly, with full pain capabilities – and is supported further by homologation testing, vehicle certification, and supply chain management services.
