Ayvens has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BYD to support the distribution of electric passenger cars and LCVs for its corporate and retail customers in Europe.
The MoU itself was signed by Tim Albertsen, Group CEO of Ayvens, and Stella Li, Executive Vice President of BYD, during a ceremony at BYD’s global headquarters in Shenzhen, China. Both signees were in the presence of Mr. Wang Chuanfu, Chairman and President of BYD Company and other representatives from the two companies. Through this agreement, Ayvens’ local and international corporate clients in Europe will benefit from tailored EV fleet solutions, ranging from advisory services and operational leases to end-to-end charging services, for BYD’s full EV portfolio.
Through it, Ayvens will likewise provide white labelled full-service leasing services to SME and private individuals through BYD’s dealer network. The company will initially offer these services to its customers in France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg – while aiming to expand to further European markets in the future. Together, Ayvens and BYD will leverage their partnership to explore new opportunities within retail, developing further white label operational lease co-operations to nurture electrification within Europe.
From a business perspective, the MoU will allow the two companies to enhance collaboration by implementing a range of training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives. These will together help the companies foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation around new energy vehicles and battery technologies.
