Dongfeng Motor has detailed the next steps in its expansion across Europe at a dedicated event in Turin, Italy. At ‘Dongfeng Day · Europe’, the Chinese OEM showcased its latest R&D achievements while rolling out new market strategies – notably launching the Dongfeng Box in the Italian market and debuting the Voyah Courage in Europe.
Integrating multifunctional configuration with a contemporary appearance, the Dongfeng Box also offers a ten-in-one electric drive, enhanced power and a maximum range of 267 miles (430 km). The Voyah Courage, meanwhile, is a high-end e-SUV that represents Dongfeng’s first global model and provides an advanced exterior design as well as a tech-focused intelligent cockpit.
The OEM said that these models will not only help enrich its overseas product matrix, but also address the luxury, high-end, and mainstream markets – helping it meet the diversified needs of European market users for new energy vehicles. Further models presented at the Turin event included the Dongfeng Mage, Dongfeng 007, Voyah Dream and Dongfeng Mhero I.
Dongfeng Day was the latest of the automaker’s activities conducted as part of its expansion into Europe. To date, the OEM has entered more than 30 European countries, including Norway, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, and Belgium among others.
Dongfeng will, likewise, continue to deepen its presence across the market, working with dealers in various regions while improving its localized operational capabilities, enhancing the quality of after-sales services, and gradually expanding its brand influence and product competitiveness in overseas markets.
