Škoda has launched the latest iteration of the Enyaq, its all-electric SUV, for 2025. Both the new Enyaq and the new Enyaq Coupé feature the OEM’s new Modern Solid design language, while also offering optimized aerodynamics, more sustainable materials, and a broad suite of standard equipment. For 2025, the new Enyaq range introduces enhanced digital capabilities and more advanced assistance systems.

Among the new standard equipment offered with the new Enyaq range are heated front seats & steering wheel, tri-zone climate control, keyless entry with walk away function, predictive adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, wireless charging with cooling function, rear USB-ports and an electric boot with kick activation (Virtual pedal). Remote Park Assist and Remote Trained Parking similarly represent new optional digital features. The new Enyaq offers two battery sizes and three powertrain options: the Enyaq 60 and Enyaq 85 models each have one electric motor and rear-wheel drive, while the Enyaq 85x comes with an additional motor at the front and all-wheel drive.

In the UK, customers will be able to choose from three trim grades: SE L, Edition and SportLine. The SE L represents the SE L model, which is available exclusively with the SUV body style and a 63-kWh battery. Included with this model is keyless entry with walk away locking function, a 13-inch infotainment screen with satellite navigation, and an electric boot with Virtual pedal, alongside Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Assist Plus and Blind Spot Detection. The Edition trim is available as both an SUV (60) and coupé (85) and offers customers a choice of two batteries: a 63-kWh pack and a larger 82-kWh pack. Edition models build on the specification of the SE L with 19-inch Regulus anthracite alloy wheels, full LED Matrix headlights and unique dark chrome roof rails and window trim.

The SportLine variant offers a sportier aesthetic and black detailing. Here, it features a high-gloss black finish on the front spoiler, side window trim, and the roof rails of the SUV version, as well as wing mirror caps in metallic black. In the UK, the SportLine trim will be available exclusively with an all-wheel drive powertrain along with the illuminated Tech-Deck, head-up display, area view camera, progressive dynamic steering and sports suspension.

The Enyaq 60’s lithium-ion battery comprises nine modules, each with 24 battery cells, that facilitate its 63-kWh gross capacity. The unit is combined with a 201 hp (150 kW) synchronous electric motor, which delivers a maximum torque of 310 Nm (228 lb-ft) to the rear wheels, and a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). The Enyaq 85 similarly offers a single electric motor and rear-wheel drive but is equipped with a larger battery consisting of twelve modules, and a gross capacity of 82 kWh.

This motor produces an output of 282 hp (210 kW) and a maximum torque of 545 Nm (401 lb-ft). The Enyaq 85x also comes with the larger battery, but includes a second asynchronous electric motor on the front axle, enabling all-wheel drive. This system continuously adjusts the power transmitted to the front wheels, reducing energy consumption while enhancing directional stability. The range-topping model offers the same torque and peak output as the Enyaq 85, while both versions deliver a top speed of 111 mph (180 km/h).

All variants of the new Škoda Enyaq support high charging rates, with the Enyaq 60 offering a maximum charging capacity up to 165 kW, and up to 175 kW for the Enyaq 85x. This allows for the larger of the two batteries to be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 28 minutes at DC fast-charging stations. The Enyaq 60 can likewise be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in 24 minutes, while all new Enyaq models can be charged at up to 11 kW at AC charging stations.

The interior of the new Škoda Enyaq pairs a 5-inch Digital Cockpit with a central 13-inch infotainment display as standard, alongside a redesigned heated steering wheel is now heated. Further standard equipment includes keyless entry with open-on-approach and walk-away locking as well as heated front seats, tri-zone climate control and tow bar preparation for all models. This standard offering can be extended with four optional feature packages: Advanced, Maxx, Transport and Winter. These are complemented by a number of standalone options such as the panoramic sunroof, tow bar, and the heat pump.

The new Škoda Enyaq introduces a series of new ‘Simply Clever’ details to the series, including the model debut of the QR code in the boot. Other notable Simply Clever features include a sustainable ice scraper with a tyre tread depth gauge integrated into the boot door panel, a sustainable umbrella in the driver’s door compartment, and mobile phone pockets on the front seatbacks. The boot also offers two bag hooks and a retractable boot cover, which can be operated with a single touch. Other convenience-enhancing innovations include the Heaters function, which automatically turns on up to four heating features, and fast-charging USB-C ports in the front and rear of the vehicle that offer up to 45 W of power.

The Enyaq’s Škoda Connect services now include Lock & Unlock, enabling users to remotely secure or access their vehicle using the MyŠkoda mobile app. Another new feature, Predictive Maintenance, uses driving data and the Vehicle Health Report to identify potential issues before they occur – monitoring the traction battery, 12 V battery, brake pad wear, and air conditioning system to do so. Additionally, the integration of Plug & Charge into Powerpass simplifies charging at public stations by eliminating the need for external authorization tools such as RFID cards or separate apps.

The optional Park Assist feature introduces two new functions, Remote Park Assist and Trained Parking. The former allows the Enyaq to automatically enter parallel and perpendicular parking spaces, while the owner controls the function on the MyŠkoda app on their smartphone. Leveraging Bluetooth, the system requires that the owner stands close to the vehicle while holding the key. After selecting the maneuver type, the Enyaq autonomously handles steering, braking, and movement.

Trained Parking enables the car to ‘learn’ approaches of up to 50 meters to five specific parking locations. Once a saved space is recognized, the Enyaq can semi-autonomously navigate to this space using the Remote Trained Parking function. Like Remote Park Assist, this feature is controlled using the MyŠkoda app.

Keyless entry, provided as standard for the Enyaq, aims to offer further convenience to users through its Open-On-Approach function, which unlocks the doors and tailgate when the key holder comes within 1.5 meters of the car. Walk-Away Locking automatically locks the vehicle once the key moves more 2.5 metres away from the vehicle.

A series of smaller infotainment updates work similarly to enhance the overall user experience. A new Heaters button, for example, deactivates all heating functions with a single tap, while updates to the Vehicle and Apps menus move key settings into the Apps menu. The top bar now includes quick-access favorites for features like battery pre-heating, Speed Assist, and Heaters. Additionally, users of the infotainment system are now logged into it automatically, eliminating the need for manual authentication on the Enyaq’s welcome screen.
