Building on their longer-term partnership, the companies will seek to leverage ECARX’s extensive experience in full-stack hardware and software development, in addition to multiple generations of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, to jointly build an adaptable, innovative product matrix.
In uniting their advanced R&D capabilities and experiences, the companies are aiming to offer further support for those automakers looking to accelerate their transition towards delivering intelligent software-defined vehicles (SDVs).
Together, they are further seeking to seize the opportunity presented by the AI-driven transformation of SDVs in the contemporary auto market. Here, their relationship will more closely focus on intelligent solutions that combine innovation, proven applications, and broad adaptability.
Through their deepened collaboration, ECARX and Qualcomm are ultimately working to accelerate the development and deployment of SDVs at large. At the same time, by empowering more automotive brands with intelligent experiences, they are aiming to build an open, dynamic, and connected ecosystem for automotive intelligence.
