EVBox, a provider of EV charging solutions, has launched the Troniq High Power – a charging station capable of delivering 400 kW of power. The company confirmed that it expects to begin fulfilling customer orders for its new solution from September 2023 in key European markets.
The launch follows a successful testing period conducted by EVBox at Toulouse, in France and Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This Early Adopter Program iterated on the charging station’s design by gathering real-time feedback and using it to continuously improve the station.
Over its five months, the program logged more than 4,000 charging sessions and 1,700 hours of active charging. More than 91 MWh of energy was delivered to EVs through it, validating its performance and compatibility with different types of vehicles, battery types, weather conditions, and use cases.
