ECARX, a provider of mobility technologies, has announced that its first intelligent cockpit co-developed with the FAW Group will debut in the recently-launched Hongqi Tiangoing 05.
While marking a key step in an extended strategic partnership between the companies, focused on developing intelligent cockpits for FAW’s Hongqi brand, this latest collaboration also marks the first integration of the Lingxi smart cockpit AI platform with the Deepseek large model.
Inside, the Tiangong 05’s intelligent cockpit will be powered by ECARX’s Antora 1000 Pro computing platform and offer a customized Hongqi FAW OS that sits on top of both EXARX Cloudpeak (a flexible, modular software platform) and the latest version of ECARX AutoGPT, the provider’s in-vehicle AI large model application.
In co-developing this solution, ECARX and FAW jointly utilized their research and development capabilities to build an end-to-end value chain for the development of intelligent cockpits, encompassing areas such as software and hardware design, through to system integration.
In the near future, they plan to replicate and scale their solution across forthcoming Hongqi models, aiming to ensure that it is cost-effective, streamlined, and aligned with the evolving E/E architecture featured in Hongqi’s latest vehicles.
